Pilot program

Evaluate VICA™ with your own research samples

An initial VICA™ pilot lets your team evaluate the method using its own samples, whether you need to compare candidates, examine a target interaction or test the effect of sample conditions. Pavonis reviews that requirement and proposes the measurements and deliverables, then runs the agreed study alongside your existing assays without an instrument purchase.

Process

How a pilot works

1. Tell us about your research

Start with a non-confidential description of the interaction, previous findings and measurements you need. This gives our team the scientific context for reviewing the proposed experiment.

2. Review the assay and samples

Using that research context, we review your targets, candidates or specimens and the relevant sample conditions. We can then identify suitable VICA™ formats and explain the technical limitations affecting the proposed measurements.

3. Confirm the study scope

Once the assay requirements are understood, we agree on the work, outputs, sample requirements, timing and price. Confidentiality and handling arrangements are settled at this stage, before proprietary information or material is exchanged.

4. Receive and review your results

After performing the study, Pavonis returns the agreed measurements and analysis. We review the findings with you to discuss which candidates may warrant further characterization or which conditions need another experiment.

Discuss your first
VICA™ study

Send a non-confidential description of the target or candidates, the binding measurements you need and the samples available. From that outline, we can review the technical requirements and discuss a pilot proposal. Physical samples should follow only after handling arrangements have been agreed.
